Open Book 04:33
Never known to miss a beat That drum of yours is gold indeed. More than some ever need Miner's pride is there on your sleeve. Your face tells tales that words can't hide. When you speak the words don't lie. No game is known, or plan is shown. The hand you show was seen long ago. Take my wheel anytime The long way home Wind in my face Like so many times you've done for me You're an open book, my friend. Painted scene, alpine cone Open door, open home. No surprise, devil in your eye. Soon that wry smile will arrive. Take my wheel anytime The long way home Wind in my face Like so many times You've done for me You're an open book, my friend. The warm, setting sun at our backs Shadows tall That long quiet road The road will still call Calling to me With or without my friend.

Someday 03:58
The gaze of the two Whose hearts were one, Bright as the sun. Our hands held so strong. Forever, they said. The tarot was read. But now.. Despair in your eye, A quivering sigh. But someday, I know, We'll walk in the sun. The haze of our years. The lines on my face. The salt of your tears. God knows we tried. When words are denied, Your delicate eyes Say you'll go. Pass through the door. I know you no more. But someday, I know, We'll walk in the sun.

Head on my chest, Closer now we cannot be. Waking from our rest Our meeting eyes agree. Softly on your eye Placing there with warm breath, Fondness of my heart, My kiss is nothing less. We start and we end In the closest of ways. The alpha and omega of together days. Back I your arms Listening to your heart's refrain. Nowhere in the world, I'd rather remain. Sweetly whisper, Your breath in my ear, All that you are is all that I hear. We start and we end In the closest of ways. The alpha and omega of together days.

Rainy Day 04:46
Rainy day. Your morning warmth makes me stay In your arms. Nowhere to go but here. There's a world's moving will, But here everything's still. In your eyes you tell me well, “All that we need is here before us, you see it. So the day can wait”. You smile. Favorite cafe. Wet umbrellas by the door. Another latte. Of our thoughts we'll share it all. Engaging your mind Makes the day so divine. With our words, the clouds roll by. For hours we weave it, But we'll soon have to leave. In your hand is mine. We smile.

Cinderella 04:03
Love, May I accompany you to the dace tonight? All eyes will be on us as we take the floor. And the color of your gown Will live on in renown, Though only I know the color's true name. Love, The planets are magnets in the sky. They summon the metals within us to their side. Just as yours calls down to mine, We may not resist An alignments such as this, Though it comes so rarely you know. And the color of your gown Will live on in renown, Though only I know the color's true name. And if you welcome me along, I promise to be true. For whatever that is worth to you.

Every time the Touch of your hand Calls to remind Deep in a way I often for- get until the Next touch warm and True frees my Mind of doubt and Fills it with love From your heart that Passes through your Warm caress stroke By stroke giving Only love that I can't doubt since In-between Waiting for and wanting more, Not sure how to know. In the seams binding us, The threads begin to show. Light beyond the vines Speckled through our minds. Tangled thoughts shadow what's there and what we find. Though it seems Space between us whispered as we Drew away. Darkened seams Woven in the fabric worn today. Light beyond the vines Speckled through our minds. Tangled thoughts shadow what's there and what we find.

The Will has a place at the table reserved for the Was. Just as the Cannot walks hand-in-hand with the Does. Within me are faces I wear without, Masks that are worn in matters of doubt. But even a current can flow during times of drought. Tell us the story, but leave out the singular me. Sing us the melody of the definable we. We Dig in the Dirt by the light of the torch, While bathing at night in the Waters of March, Bringing together the hand, the head, and the heart. Chorus: I'm of foolish as much as I am of the wise, Maternal as well as paternal in kind, Of a child as much as I am of a man, Stuff'd with the stuff that's both coarse and fine. Ask me of shades and I'll tell you of radiant hues. Imagine my voice is a Mediterranean blue. Consider my shape with its corners & sides, A center as vast as the ocean's tides. Gaze at our moon and you'll only see one side.
